fastcompany:

Designers Matt Hornbuckle and Kirk Keel realized that our sizing system is a broken one, and decided to change it up. Using 3-D body scan data from more than 1,000 men, they created Stantt, a line of casual button-down shirts that come in 50 sizes, with three measurement variables: chest size, waist size, and sleeve length.

In the case of project, technology like this is not what we are looking at, a differentiation that, I believe, should be focused on early. This is an example of budding technology in the clothing and fashion sector, not advancement in technology that adapt it to being ‘worn’. The difference is, with clothing like this, it is meant to improve the function of clothing and fit. Wearable Technology, on the other hand, has many uses such as fitness and health and is not expressly related to the fashion industry.
